Assemblies with Danny Hicks
Danny Hicks from the Poplar Bluff Police Department will be here on Thursday, the 21st, to speak to students about some of the many issues that are a problem with this age group: cyberbullying, Snapchat, inappropriate pictures being sen (sexting)t, unsafe internet behaviors, etc..
We have decided to have these in small house assemblies (one per hour). They are approximately 50 minutes in length. We will have chairs set up in the front of the gym facing the screen. Here is the schedule: I expect excellent behavior from students!
1st hour- Hansbrough House
2nd hour- Moore House
3rd hour- Ladd House
4th hour- Innes House and Rise Students
7th hour- Bloodworth House
8th hour- Moss House
End of the Semester
There are only one weeks until Thanksgiving Break and then three weeks after Thanksgiving Break, the semester ends. Only 6 weeks until the end of the decade… let that sink in! That’s not much time left. Midterms are due on November 19th. Finish Strong! Remember… two semester F’s will earn you summer school and the possibility of retention in the same grade.
Stuco Meeting
There will be a STUCO meeting in room 124 at 7am on Thursday November 21st.

Blankets and Hoods/Hats
As the weather turns colder, this is a reminder that blankets are not to be brought to school and no hoods or hats may be worn inside the building. Dress appropriately for the weather!
Hallway Behavior
The hallways have become way too loud during passing times and in the mornings coming up from breakfast. There is no need to shout and scream. Use inside voices or you will be asked to go back and try again until it’s an acceptable noise level.
