PBJHS Student Announcements
April 9 through April 13, 2018
WELCOME
Snow in April???? Hopefully, all that nonsense is behind us and flip flops and the river are on the horizon.
Chromebooks
Chromebooks never need to be carried with the lids opened! We have had to repair too many screens due to careless behavior. Please take care of these!
7th Grade Registration
7th graders will register for 8th grade elective classes Wednesday, April 18th in their English classes. Students may view the elective options on Google Classroom.
PE Student of the Month Luncheon
P.E. Students of the Month pizza parties will be held Thursday, April 12th, in room 107 (Mrs. Jameson's room) during 5th and 6th hours. Seventh grade SOTM will meet at the beginning of 5th hour. Eighth grade SOTM will meet at the beginning of 6th hour.
Romeo and Juliet at the Public Library
Romeo and Juliet will be performed by a Shakespeare Festival Education Tour from St. Louis. It is free and will be held at the Public Library on Saturday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. It is an hour long.
Parent Survey
We want your feedback! As we are in the last quarter, we would like to hear from you about your child's experience at PBJHS. In order to grow and improve, it is very important to us to hear from our parents! If you could, please take a quick moment to complete this survey for us! It is completely anonymous and we appreciate your honesty and constructive feedback.

Cardinal’s Game
152 students will be attending the Cardinal’s game on April 26 for selling 10 or more items in the fall fundraiser. I have emailed all students who will be attending. Permission slips will go home soon!
Late to Schools
We are experiencing way too many late to schools lately! The tardy bell rings at 7:34! Multiple late to schools will result in ISS.
Open Saturdays for Students
This quarter we will offer a Saturday date right before midterms and a Saturday date right before the quarter ends to any student who would like to come in and work on assignments, use the wifi, get help from the teachers working, etc.. This will be voluntary and not used as a punishment. Please take advantage of this offer if you have poor grades or missing assignments or just need time and wifi and a device.
MAP Dates
Communication Arts will test during the week of April 30. Math will test the week of May 7th and Science the week of May 14. Please try to make sure you are here during those weeks. Good attendance is very important, especially during testing.
