WELCOME

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great first full week of school:)  This week and next week is a four day week, so enjoy!

Attendance Rate

I want to commend you all on your attendance rate so far!  You are doing a fantastic job with getting to school.  I’m posting it each day on our data wall in the foyer.  Remember,  our goal is 90% attendance, 90% of the time. You exceeded that this last week!  Let’s keep that up:)  

Fundraiser Assemblies

Our school fundraiser kickoff will be Wednesday..  We will be selling Mules tumbler cups and cookie dough.  You’ll want to make sure you participate so you can earn a Cardinal’s ticket and a day out of school!

BREAKFAST- If you are eating breakfast in the morning, please go down the ramp and not in the gym when you arrive.

Lunch- Students, please make sure you are keeping your table clean and your trash picked up in the cafeteria.  Remember to use the stairs to your left as you exit the lunchroom.  

Washington DC Meeting

There will be an informational meeting for parents of 8th grade students interested in attending the Washington DC trip in May.  The meeting will be September 13 in the gym at 6:00 PM.

STUDENT HANDBOOK

You will be able to access your student handbook on Google Classroom and you also have a hard copy of it.  Please take time to read through this manual.  Mr. Dowd and I have already hit on many of the issues in the AL assemblies.  We will have a Kahoot game in Academic Lab to see how well you read it.

Fun Friday

I hope you guys enjoyed your surprise for Fun Friday of music playing instead of bells each hour.  Stay tuned for more surprises as we go throughout the year.

CHROMEBOOKS

Keep up with your Chromebooks! We have too many that are being left in classrooms.  Make sure you are grabbing yours as you leave class.

Outdoor Eating

Our outdoor eating area during lunch will be open this week.  I will be coming through and picking a table to go outside and eat every day.  Impress me with your behavior!
