Flag Football Competition
Monday- Bess House vs. Lewis House during Academic Lab and Kalich House vs. York House
Tuesday- Hoover House vs. Winner from Monday; Giambelluca house vs. Monday’s winner
Thursday- During the assembly the overall 7th grade winner will vs the overall 8th grade winner

Academic Labs can bring their students out to watch
7th Grade will play from 11:15-11:45

Gaming Clubs this week with Mr. Arnold
Tuesday- Gaming Club
Thursday- Dungeons and Dragons
Friday- Anime Club
All clubs meet until 4:30. Please return the Basic Club Information Form this week when you attend.
Beta Club
Beta Club needs to meet on Friday. We will be on club day schedule on Friday. If you are in Beta, listen for the announcement and head to the gym to meet.
STUCO
8th grade STUCO members we will have a meeting this week on Wednesday Morning in my room 124 starting at 7:15. Please make plans to attend.I have several things we need to discuss. This is only 8th graders who were in STUCO last year.
7th graders interested in joining STUCO need to pick up an application in room 124 or 125. You must have at least a C average and no discipline referrals. You will be asked to pay a $20 fee for membership and a T shirt if you are accepted.
Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search students will meet with Zach Mac on Wednesday, September 30 during their Academic Lab. Students will be dismissed from their Ac Lab via intercom announcement. Seventh grade ETS students will meet in Mr. Duncan's room, #122. Eighth grade students will meet in Mr. Eason's room, #16. Students MUST get their ETS pass from their Ac Lab teacher to be able to leave class (counselors will provide these to teachers).
Pumpkin Painting in Labs
Each academic lab will pain a pumpkin. These are due by Oct. 22. We will have a penny war during lunch shifts from the 23-30. The pumpkin that wins will get all the money raised donated to their charity! Get started painting! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Club Day
The next club day will be October 2nd for Beta.
Masks
Many students have been sent home due to contact tracing. Students who are wearing a mask at all times can avoid being sent home. If anyone needs a mask, we have them in the office. Stop by and get one! They are free and available for anyone who wants one.
Spirit Week
We will have a football spirit week September 28-October 2nd! The house with the most participants each day will win 25 house points! See below:
I Want Someone to Know
We have a bullying reporting form for students. This is a way for you to report anything you’d like to let the principals know. We will immediately investigate the situation. If you see something, say something! The form can be accessed here.
Cooler weather- dress appropriately!
We are still going to be using the stadium bleachers in the morning for students to sit on days when it is not raining. As the weather is now cooler in the mornings, please bring a jacket or hoodie with you so you aren’t cold.
Student Email
All student email is monitored. If you use it for reasons other than school or we find anything inappropriate, you will lose access to your Google account.
ICU- Our ICU program is up and going! This program is not intended to be a “punishment”. It’s an extra support designed to help students complete their work and learn the material. Put forth your best efforts and complete your work on time! If you end up on the list repetitively, then before/after school tutoring or Saturday schools will be used to help get you caught up.
