           Student         Announcements

February 26 through March 2, 2018

WELCOME

Welcome Back! I hope everyone stayed dry and enjoyed the beautiful Sunday!

Instagram

We have a pbjhs Instagram account and will be using it for a student challenge beginning next week! Please follow us @pbjhs

ICU

It’s the 3rd quarter slump and we are seeing a big jump in our ICU numbers.  Get your work done on time and stay off that list!

Thank you to our Sponsors

A huge thank you to our community sponsors who helped us fund our new digital sign! Shoutout to: Moore Funeral Home, Dr. Carrie Carda, Butler County EMS and Central Methodist University.

Renaissance Cards

Renaissance cards will be used for many things, including as you saw this week, registering first for Blitz Day.  We will also use this same process for registering for Student PD Day.  Eligibility for a renaissance card is determined by attendance, grades, discipline and ICU referrals.

JROTC Assemblies

8th graders will be participating in JROTC assemblies on Thursday, March 1.  This is to give you a glimpse of what JROTC in high school is before registering for your electives.

Volleyball

The first  home volleyball game will be March 5th at 5:00 PM

8th Grade Registration

8th graders will be beginning the process of HS registration this week.  Mrs. Elledge will be working with all 8th grade students.  The schedules you create will be taken home and must be signed by a parent.

Open Containers

Just a reminder, open container are not allowed! Throw your cups away before you enter the halls in the morning.

Reminders

Please remember that hoods, hats and bandanas are not allowed inside the building.  I will be passing out detentions, if I see them.  It’s March and by now everyone knows the rules.

Social Media

Students, please keep in mind that anything that you post on social media during non school hours/off campus, but carries over into school and affects the school population, can be subject to a discipline consequence issued by the school.  It is not to be taken lightly.  Use good judgment in this area! If you wouldn’t say it to your mom or grandma, it’s probably not a good idea to post it.
