I Want Someone to Know Form

Students who witness anything that they feel someone should know, need to use the “I Want Someone to Know” form.  This is a way for students to let counselors and administrators know something without having to come to the office.  It is completely confidential and we are the ONLY people who will see the report.  No one will know that you have reported anything.  The form to fill out is in your student body Google Classroom group.  You may access it here as well.

Lunch Seating Charts

Please make sure you are sitting at your assigned table in lunch. This is per the Butler County Health Department.

Bathroom Passes

All students should have received their 5 bathroom passes for the quarter.  Use these sparingly.  Students may use the restroom in PE and between each class period too.  If you run out of passes, and you really have to use the restroom during class, you may take a tardy.  Students who have a medical condition and need to use the restroom more often, need to have a doctor’s note on file with the nurse.

Mock Virtual Day

This Friday we will be having a mock virtual day.  In the event, we would have to shut down due to Covid, we would do things differently than we did last spring.  All students would take their school devices home and do their schoolwork from there.  This Friday we are going to practice in each classroom what that would look like.  Teachers are preparing lessons just like they would if we were learning from home.  Students will practice completing the lessons on their devices.  I need all students who can, to bring earbuds with them on Friday.  If we ever do end up having to do remote learning again, grades will be given and students will be expected to complete all assignments.

ICU

Our ICU program is up and going!  This program is not intended to be a “punishment”.  It’s an extra support designed to help students complete their work and learn the material. Put forth your best efforts and complete your work on time!  If you end up on the list repetitively, then before/after school tutoring or Saturday schools will be used to help get you caught up.

Cell Phone Reminder

Any student who uses their cell phone to video a fight, or any other inappropriate actions or uses it to bully other students at school via social media will be suspended.  We have  zero tolerance on bullying.  No cellphones are allowed in class either.  The only time you may use your cell phone is during passing time or lunch.

Washington DC Meeting

There will be an informational meeting for parents of 8th grade students interested in attending the Washington DC trip in May.  The meeting will be September 15 in the gym at 6:00 PM.

Student Email

All student email is monitored. If you use it for reasons other than school or we find anything inappropriate, you will lose access to your Google account.
